While the purpose of this program is to translate strategic direction into action, the focus is on the steps required for successful project completion, including project selection, phase deliverables and the appropriate use of Six Sigma and Lean tools. Participants will discuss how to align projects with key business objectives, possible organizational barriers and potential remedies. This format allows for Green Belts and Black Belts to attend training together, thus improving internal synergy while providing greater organizational flexibility. The first 2 weeks of training covers all practical DMAIC phases at a Green Belt level. Black Belts attend an additional 2 weeks of training and the curriculum covers advanced or more detailed (Analyze, Improve) tools with in depth applications and practical exercises. Green/Black Certification Programs: Curriculum follows the DMAIC phases, teaching candidates how to integrate a variety of Lean and Six Sigma tools into an overall approach to process improvement. Students are taught how to define and successfully launch a project, how to transition it from phase to phase, and finally, how to complete a project and evaluate its success. As future leaders in an organization, candidates will learn how to effectively manage, support and motivate their teams and management to achieve desired goals. This half day session will also provide participants the basic knowledge on how to deploy the methods and how other organizations have benefited from applying LSS with case studies and experiential business applications. Awareness session is designed to help business leaders gain a basic understanding of methodologies. More Information
